Conversion of two terrace properties into apartments in Central London

Treme successfully obtained planning consent to convert the upper floors of two existing terrace properties which have retail units at ground floor. The properties included basements used for storage. They are located in central London fronting onto a busy main road with restricted access to the rear.

Our brief was to obtain planning consent to convert the upper floors into two, one-bedroom apartments and two, two-bedroom apartments. At Treme we submitted a planning application to increase the roof height by introducing a mansard roof. This allowed for a creative design for two, two-bedroom apartments as duplex apartments.

The properties are now complete and have been refurbished to a very high standard.
